Does SlowRead work with PDFs?+
Yes. Drop a PDF onto the SlowRead window and it'll extract the body text into sentences. Scanned PDFs work best if they already contain real text — we don't OCR.
How is reading data stored?+
Free mode keeps your reading state, notes, and local documents in your browser. Pro stores your saved documents so you can return to them across devices, with document persistence backed by Vercel Blob.
Do I need to sign in to use it?+
Not for Free. Sign-in is only for Pro features like cloud saves, synced resume state, and returning to your documents across devices.
