Studio Matter.
Physical textures for digital design.
A material-based design system built from real painted surfaces. Scanned, calibrated, and exported as textures, swatches, and tokens for tactile digital interfaces.

Honest about where it came from.
Three things you should know about how Studio Matter is built and licensed.
Hand-painted source
Every surface was painted, scanned, and color-calibrated. No AI-generated textures, no stock-asset reskins.
Clear licensing
One purchase covers commercial use across all your projects. No per-seat fees, no per-render charges.
Offline assets
Download once, use forever. Assets live on your disk; no online check-in, no DRM, no internet required.
What's in the kit.
Four collections, each calibrated to behave consistently across screens and tools.

48 painted surfaces.
Raw scans at 300 dpi plus seamless tileable versions. Earth pigments, oils, gouache, and dry pastel.
Calibrated palette.
Every color extracted from the paintings is hand-tuned for screen — sRGB, P3, and a print-safe variant.
Multiple formats.
Drop straight into Figma, Affinity, Procreate, or your CSS. Tokens included for design-system folks.
License in plain text.
No legalese to wade through. The boundary is short, the rules are short, and the file is included in the bundle.
