LogN.

Focus, sleep, and noise — in one quiet app.

LogN is one dial with four modes: sleeping, reading, working, and masking. Slide between them, and the sound and the screen shift with you. Free on the App Store.

How it started.

LogN started almost by accident. I was working on an evolving drone sound for something completely unrelated to the app. I left it playing while I was painting and noticed how comfortable it felt — it put me into this calm, focused state where I could just keep working.

That made me think: what if I turned this into a very simple tool?

Different kinds of noise and evolving sound for different moments — working, reading, thinking, sleeping, or simply masking the world around you.

Nothing complicated. Pick a preset, press play, and get on with whatever you're doing.

That little studio experiment became LogN.

Quiet by design.

A short list of what LogN is built around: one dial, four moods, and sound that gets out of your way.

01

Four modes, one dial

Sleeping, reading, working, and masking live on the same slider — drag the dot, the mood changes.

02

Built by the same studio

LogN comes from the same small Oslo studio behind NotaBill, NotaTime, Wax & Pigment, and Painting Mirror.

03

Free, no account wall

No account wall before you can listen, no onboarding maze — open the app and start a sound.

Four modes, one dial.

Slide between them — the background shifts with the mode you pick.

LogN — Sleeping mode

Sleeping.

Start a sound, dim the screen, and let it run. Built for the moment right before you put the phone down.

LogN — Reading mode

Reading.

A warmer, quieter mode for sitting with something to read instead of scrolling.

LogN — Working mode

Working.

A focus mode meant for a desk session, not a dance floor.

LogN — Masking mode

Masking.

A steadier layer of sound to sit underneath a noisy office, a loud street, or thin apartment walls.
