Painting Mirror Privacy Policy

Introduction

Painting Mirror is designed for focused studio observation. The live camera feed is processed on your device and is never recorded by us, uploaded to our servers, or transmitted for analytics or advertising.

Information We Collect

Painting Mirror does not collect your live camera feed or studio content. Core observation tools run directly on your device.

• Live camera processing stays on device for Mirror, Composition, Blur, Grayscale, and other studio tools.
• Captures you choose to keep are stored in your Photo Library and on-device Studio Assistant.
• We do not require a Nice Software account, email, or login to use the app.
• In-app purchase status is handled by Apple through App Store infrastructure.

How We Use Your Data

Data is used only to provide the studio features you intentionally use:

• Render mirror and composition checks in real time
• Apply value and simplification tools such as Grayscale, Blur, and Black Mirror
• Support session utilities such as Pinned Study, Rest Eye, and Quiet Look
• Save and export captures you explicitly create
• Restore Full Studio purchase status through Apple

We do not profile your behavior, sell data, or track what you paint.

Data Storage & iCloud Sync

On-Device Processing: Observation modes run locally on your device. The camera feed is not sent to Nice Software servers.

Saved Captures: Captures are saved only when you choose to save them, and they remain in your Photo Library and on-device Studio Assistant.

Data We Do Not Collect

• We do not record or store your live camera feed remotely.
• We do not run analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking SDKs.
• We do not sell, rent, or broker personal data.
• We do not create behavior profiles based on your studio sessions.
• We do not require account sign-up for core use.

Your Rights & Data Control

Access: Your saved captures stay on your device and are accessible through your normal device storage and app workflows.

Deletion: You can delete captures from your Photo Library and remove app data from your device at any time.

Export: Studio Assistant supports exporting captured working states you choose to keep.

Data Portability: Your captures and exports remain under your control.

Security

Because processing is local-first, your content primarily depends on your device security posture. We recommend using current OS updates and strong device lock settings.

Third-Party Services

Painting Mirror relies on Apple platform services for distribution and purchases:

• App Store purchase and restore flows managed by Apple.
• Device camera and media frameworks provided by Apple operating systems.
• Photo Library access only when you grant permission.

Painting Mirror does not include third-party ad networks or third-party analytics providers.

Children's Privacy

Painting Mirror is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children through account-based systems because the app does not require our account system.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect legal, technical, or product changes. The updated policy date will appear at the top of this page.
