NotaBill Privacy Policy

Introduction

NotaBill is built so your invoices, client details, and invoice history stay on your device. We do not want a copy of that information, we do not collect it on our servers, and it is none of our business what you invoice for.

Information We Collect

NotaBill does not collect your invoice data or client data. The app works locally on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac, and the information you enter stays there.

• Invoice drafts, issued invoices, client details, and notes are stored locally on your device.
• We do not require an account, email address, or login to use NotaBill.
• We do not operate a NotaBill cloud where your invoice contents are copied to our servers.
• If cloud features are introduced in the future, they will be optional and clearly disclosed before use.

How We Use Your Data

Your data is used only inside the app features you choose to use on your own device:

• Create, edit, and store invoices on your device
• Generate invoice PDFs and other exports for your own records or clients
• Remember recent invoice and client information locally so the app stays useful

We do not inspect, profile, monetize, or analyze what you invoice for. That information is yours, not ours.

Data Storage & iCloud Sync

Local Storage: NotaBill stores invoice data locally on your device by default. Nice Software does not receive a copy of that data.

Future Cloud Features: There is no mandatory Nice Software cloud account for NotaBill today. If optional sync or backup features are added later, they will be presented as opt-in and documented clearly before you enable them.

Data We Do Not Collect

• We do not collect the contents of your invoices or client records on our servers.
• We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties.
• We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or third-party tracking.
• We do not run analytics on what you invoice for, who you bill, or how much you charge.
• We do not create a user profile or account on our servers.

Your Rights & Data Control

Access: Your invoice data is stored on your device and remains accessible to you there.

Deletion: You can delete invoices, client records, or all app data at any time through the app or by removing the app from your device.

Export: You can export invoices and related files whenever you need them.

Data Portability: Your records are yours to keep, archive, or send as needed.

Security

Your data is stored locally on your device and protected by your device's own security features. We recommend keeping your device software up to date and using a strong device passcode or password.

Third-Party Services

NotaBill relies on Apple platform services needed to run on your devices:

• Apple system frameworks that support local app functionality on iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
• App Store infrastructure for download, purchase, and restore flows governed by Apple's own policies.

NotaBill does not integrate with advertising networks, third-party analytics, or external tracking services.

Children's Privacy

NotaBill is not intended for children under 13. Because we do not collect account-based personal data through NotaBill, there is no user account profile for children to create with us.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the app, legal requirements, or future optional features. We will update the "Last updated" date above when we do.
